The Most Recent Core Collection Case
The most recent decision added to the Core Collection is Secretary of State for the Home Department v AH (Sudan),
a decision rendered in United Kingdom by the House of Lords on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, involving an applicant from Sudan.
A brief summary of the facts of this case is: Black Darfuri subsistence farmers were persecuted in Darfur on grounds of race by militias acting with government support or connivance, but argued that they should relocate to Khartoum despite risk that they would have to live in an IDP camp or squatter area (squatters' slum).
