More Countries, More CourtsThe collection of the Refugee Caselaw Site is growing in two ways.First, we are in the process of adding leading cases from Austria, Belarus, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, Spain, and Turkey. Decisions from other asylum states will soon be available as well. Second, we are adding decisions from a wider range of courts and tribunals in four of the countries already included in the core collection: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Each of these expansions has been made possible by the volunteer contributions of teams of National Coordinators from around the world. National Coordinators generously donate their time and expertise to this project. They select and index the decisions reported in the various National Sites, and are solely responsible for the content of the National Sites which they direct. To access these additional cases, choose to search the National Sites. Persons interested in establishing a National Site for a country not presently represented here are invited to contact the Administrator of the Refugee Caselaw Site. The broadening and deepening of our collection has been made possible by a generous technology grant from the University of Michigan Law School. We gratefully acknowledge as well the kind collaboration in this project of the International Association of Refugee Law Judges. | ||
